Raymond is an experienced sports operations professional with a demonstrated history of successful financial development, budget oversight, leadership, and community outreach. He is versatile and has experience across all layers of business operations. Having swam at the Division I level, Raymond knows what young athletes endure to be successful. He took his passion for sports and has made a career out of it.
Raymond served as the assistant director of athletics at the New York Athletic Club from 2015 to 2020. The NYAC has a rich history in amateur and Olympic athletics. During his time there Raymond managed a $12 million budget encompassing 18 elite sports teams and athletes, athletic events, member fitness, youth programs, retail spaces, operations, racket sports, and the Club's golf and billiards programs.
Prior to his time at the NYAC, Raymond served as an aquatic director at a number of non profit organizations. He has also spent time writing and coaching swimming at the youth and national level.
Raymond holds a Bachelor's degree from Niagara University and a Master's degree from St. John's University. Raymond is married to his wife Brittany, and they have two children, Blythe and Phil. He enjoys the outdoors and is a licensed New York State Wilderness Guide. Raymond loves all things outdoors and active.
